Adam Lasics

Adam brings strategic insight and operational experience to both management and investment teams as a trusted partner. For over 20 years, he has worked at the intersection of strategy, finance, and energy in complementary investing and commercial roles.

At GE Ventures and GE Energy Financial Services, Adam’s investing experience included $4 billion of transactions in venture capital and private equity with responsibilities that spanned strategic planning, deal execution, portfolio management, and board director roles. His commercial experience at GE included managing two joint ventures to commercialize lower-carbon fuels and incubating an internal robotic inspection and asset analytics start-up.

Adam has also been on the “other side of the table” as the CFO of a geomechanics SaaS start-up where in addition to developing the business plan and managing fund raising, he wore multiple hats in product design, HR, sales, and marketing.

As a Partner with Piva Capital, Adam focuses on investment strategy, deal analysis, and fund operations, and brings a grounded perspective on the opportunities and challenges starts-up face.
