As CEO of Gentari, he is building a resilient, forward-looking energy company — scaling renewables, developing hydrogen markets, and transforming mobility across Asia Pacific and beyond. He champions collaborative leadership and actionable progress, with a clear vision for decarbonisation pathways that serve industries, governments, and communities.

Before Gentari, Sushil spent over 24 years at Wärtsilä Corporation, rising to President of Wärtsilä Energy and Executive Vice President of the Group. Under his leadership, Wärtsilä became a frontrunner in grid-balancing engine power plants and large-scale energy storage, and he spearheaded the launch of its decarbonisation-focused services business, helping customers cut emissions through data-driven, commercially viable solutions.
